Secure Customer Area
Web Site Design Process, Custom Web Site Design, Overland Park KS, KansaseCentersoftware has developed a 7-step Web Design Process that virtually guarantees accurate definition of requirements, timely completion of the project, professional results, and satisfied customers.
  1. Contact Us to Receive a Free Estimate.
Submit our Request A Quote form to provide sufficient information for us to develop an initial estimate for the project.  We will provide the estimate and a link to our electronic Requirements Worksheet via email within 3 working days.  The Requirements Worksheet will further define the exact requirements for your website.

  2. Complete and Submit the Requirements Worksheet.
Once we have received  and reviewed the worksheet we will contact you by telephone to discuss the information in detail and answer any questions you may have.  Subsequent to the call we will provide a formal requirements definition document and a firm fixed-price proposal based upon the contents of the requirements document.

  3. Sign the Requirements Document and an eCenterSoftware Contract For Services and Return Them With Your Deposit.
The signed Requirements Document and Contract For Services constitute the working agreement between our companies.  We require an up-front deposit equal to one-half of the agreed upon project cost.

  4. Review Prototypes and Provide Feedback.
We will provide 2 - 3 working one-page prototypes (with dummy content and graphics) for your review within an agreed upon timeframe.  With your feedback we can determine which - if any - represents a direction consistent with your requirements.  At that point we can make the necessary adjustments to the prototype or develop new ones for your approval.  This step represents an iterative process that, when completed, will yield a design that exactly meets your needs.

  5. Provide Content and Graphics.
We would like to have all of the content, logo, graphics, and images that you are to provide as quickly as possible after the prototype has been approved so we can incorporate them in the development of the actual web site.

  6. Participate in Periodic Work-In-Process Reviews.
We normally hold weekly reviews for you to view and comment on the web site as it is being developed on our staging server.

  7. Final Test and Rollout.
Once the development phase has been completed we will install the web site on your server and test to make certain it functions according to specification.  At that point we will ask for you to sign a formal Acceptance Document and remit the balance due eCenterSoftware.

While our process requires a significant ongoing investment of time on your part it assures that the final product meets both your requirements and your expectations.
